Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Heario website at heariohealth.com and the Heario app. By using Heario, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Heario is

Heario provides guided, self-help support for common hearing aid issues. It is offered to hearing clinics and their patients. Heario is a support tool and does not replace professional medical or audiological care.

Not medical advice

The guidance in Heario is for general, informational, self-help purposes only and is not medical advice. If you have a medical concern, or if a problem is not resolved through the app, contact your hearing clinic or a qualified professional.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Heario only for its intended purpose. You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its normal operation, or attempt to access it in an unauthorized way.

Access

Clinics access Heario through a trial or subscription. Patients access the app using a code provided by their clinic. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features of the service over time.

Billing, cancellation, and refunds

Heario Standard is a subscription, billed per clinic location. You can pay monthly or yearly, and payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, access ends.

Payments are non-refundable. Because a free trial is available before you subscribe, we do not offer refunds on subscription payments, including for partial months or the unused portion of an annual plan. Canceling stops future charges but does not refund a payment already made.

Privacy

Your use of Heario is also covered by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it. Patients do not create accounts, and clinic reporting is aggregate, with no identifying patient information.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access to Heario if an account is used in a way that breaks these terms, or if a subscription payment is not completed. Where reasonable, we will let you know. You can stop using Heario, or cancel your subscription, at any time.

Intellectual property

Heario, including its content, design, and branding, belongs to Heario. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse it without our permission.

Disclaimers

Heario is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will resolve every issue.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heario is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
